Job summary

The Recruitment Fix Ltd in Middleton, North Manchester, seeks a Skilled Sheet Metal Welder/Fabricator (TIG/MIG) for a temp-to-perm role. You will weld stainless steel, aluminium, and copper to high standards with drawings to guide you, and join a busy team offering varied work and a strong company culture.

Salary £33,789 pa plus overtime, with hours Mon-Thu 07:40-16:30 and Fri 07:40-12:20; superb stability and progression in a well-established sheet metal fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• High-level TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience using measuring equipment.
• IT literacy for data purposes.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MIG/TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and copper materials from 0.8mm.
• Interpret and work from detailed technical drawings with precision.
• Ensure reliability and punctuality while managing personal workloads.
• Handle weights of up to 16 kilos as part of a 2-man team.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain high standards while adhering to health and safety protocols.
