NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Registered Midwife to join the Neonatal department at University Hospital Wishaw. This permanent, part-time post (17.25 hours per week) offers Band 6 salary and opportunities to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a supportive environment.

Role involves caring for women and babies across the maternity service, planning and evaluating care while maintaining NHS Lanarkshire policies and statutory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Midwife with valid NMC Registration.
• Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level.
• Post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.

Aufgaben

• Planning, assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating planned programmes of care.
• Being an advocate for women and their families and promoting normality throughout pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period.
• Provide a health education role for women, their partners and extended families.
• Setting and maintaining standards of care.
