The role focuses on clinical inductions and ongoing training to ensure best practices in maternity care. The ideal candidate will have NMC registration and experience in staff mentoring. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic midwife to join the practice development team as a Midwife Clinical Educator with a focus on supporting MSW development. This role will include mandatory and essential to role training, MCA/MSW induction programmes/apprenticeships, supporting clinical placements in line with Trust policies, procedures and national guidelines and providing access to education and training to ensure both new and existing staff maintain required skills and competencies.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience and be up to date and confident with all clinical skills. We have three wards across two sites, with a total of 88 beds for antenatal, postnatal and induction of labour.
