Overview

Cos is seeking a Midweight Product UI/UX Designer to shape the future of our digital experiences. You will work within Digital Product and Tech teams, report to the Head of Digital Product Strategy, and contribute to the creation and evolution of our design system while delivering innovative, intuitive, and visually compelling experiences for cos.com and the app. Your attention to detail and expertise in UX and UI design will elevate the customer journey across all digital touchpoints.

Responsibilities
  • Design System: Collaborate with the Head of Digital Product Strategy & the Senior Product Designer to ideate, plan, execute and maintain the COS Design System, coordinating with multiple teams across the business.
  • Design System Training: Plan and execute training for teams on how to input into the design system.
  • Product Design: Design user interfaces that reflect customer behavior, drive conversion, and align with UX best practices and COS’s elevated brand identity. Deliver pixel-perfect designs, intuitive flows, and high-quality prototypes in collaboration with developers, following a mobile-first approach.
  • Optimisation: Work with Product & Business Experts and Front-End Developers on user experience tests to evaluate functionality and identify improvements.
  • Testing: Conduct thorough quality checks for all tests and live digital enhancements.
  • Global: Assist with handover, testing and implementation of site enhancements across global platforms, adapting for local markets where necessary.
  • Research: Orchestrate user research and analysis to inform customer journey design and ensure insights shape design decisions and product requirements.

What you need to succeed
  • Data Driven Decision Making: Use learnings, test results and data to inform optimized, customer-centric designs across product design.
  • Collaboration: Work with Product Design, Content & Copy, Digital Experience & Developers to ensure a holistic approach.
  • Communication: Clearly communicate design approaches and rationales to key stakeholders.
  • Deadline Management: Meet project timelines with input from Product Manager and Head of Product Strategy.
  • Agile Product Management: Strong understanding of agile methodologies.
  • Customer Centric: Monitor customer and user needs, industry trends, and best practices to deliver exceptional experiences and drive business outcomes.
  • Team Support: Guide and support more junior team members.
  • Tools: Proficient in Figma, Keynote, After Effects, Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign, Illustrator, and related tools.
Additional Information

This is a full-time temporary 3-month contract based at our Head Office in London.
