Job summary

Pearson Whiffin Recruitment are recruiting a Midweight Graphic Designer for an office-based role in Kent. You will work across print, digital and video content within a small, creative team, taking ownership of projects and delivering high-quality design across magazines, social media, events and campaigns.

The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio, excellent attention to detail and can juggle multiple projects while maintaining standards. Salary £26,000–£30,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience within a graphic design role.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects.
• Experience designing for both print and digital platforms.
• Excellent layout, typography and visual design skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging editorial layouts for print and digital publications.
• Create digital assets for websites, newsletters and social media platforms.
• Support video and podcast production, including assets, editing and promotional content.
• Produce creative event branding, signage, presentations and marketing materials.
• Design media packs, sales presentations and campaign materials.
• Managing multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with editorial, marketing and commercial teams to develop creative concepts.
• Liaise with clients to ensure advertising materials are produced to a high standard.
• Use AI tools to improve efficiency and support creative workflows.
• Contribute fresh ideas and creative solutions to ongoing projects and campaigns.
