Job summary

SheerLuxe Ltd in SW London is seeking a midweight Digital Designer to work across SheerLuxe, LuxeGen, SLMan and all supplements on a range of digital projects including site assets, editorial layouts and email design.

You will lead design on editorial layouts, mentor junior designers, create AI-generated imagery, own the SL daily newsletter and ensure brand guidelines across publications. 2+ years’ experience ideal; role is on-site in SW London; salary DOE; deadline 30 October 2026.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of digital design experience (ideal).
• Strong understanding of brand guidelines and editorial layouts.

• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to mentor junior designers (desirable).

Responsibilities

SheerLuxe Is Hiring! Midweight Digital Designer

We’re looking for an ambitious and experienced midweight designer to work across SheerLuxe, LuxeGen, SLMan and all our supplementson a variety of digital creative projects, including site assets, editorial layouts and email design.You will be motivated to join a team with the collective vision to elevate our brand and set new standards for digital design excellence. This role will suit someone who relishes the speed of the digital world, has an eye for elevated design and is eager to bring their vision to life across our publications and platforms.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Lead and manage design on editorial layouts, creating assets where necessary to bring features to life and create design led engaging layouts for editorial news stories;
• Full editorial overview on design/layouts across all supplements;
• Lead on layout module for all articles, selecting hero imagery, creating designed assets;
• Work on digital design for any new or seasonal content launches, such gift guides, city guides etc;
• Management of design across all our brands and titles working in collaboration with the content team to ensure brand guidelines are met;
• Ownership of the design of the SL daily newsletter and all supplement newsletters
• Mentorship of junior designers, providing guidance, constructive feedback and support to help develop their design skills, confidence and creative thinking;
• Creation of basic AI-generated creative imagery, using AI tools to develop innovative, engaging and visually impactful assets for editorial content.

ABOUT YOU

• We’re looking for someone who can demonstrate a real understanding of the SL brand - someone with exceptional design skills, creativity and meticulous with layouts;
• You must have a strong understanding of digital publishing in the lifestyle category;
• You will have a mobile first approach to design;
• You must have your finger on the pulse with new digital design, and how to optimise layouts for best user experience;
• You will relish the speed of digital and be able to bring a new innovative design vision to life across our multiple publications;
• We’re looking for someone who will be proactive in developing ideas and concepts to evolve our SL daily email;
• A passion for fonts is a must;
• You will have a proven ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines with a positive, team focussed attitude;
• Your strengths will lie in organisation and communication;
• Expert knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe XD, Indesign and Photoshop;
• Experienced in managing a small team desirable;

2+ years of experience is ideal.

This role is based in our office in SW London and cannot be carried out remotely.
