Arup in the Midlands is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our Building Engineering team. You will work on technically challenging projects across manufacturing, education, transport, and commercial sectors, with a focus on sustainability and net-zero ambitions.

This role offers collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, design for new builds and refurbishments, and opportunities to progress toward Chartership while contributing to high-profile projects in the region.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in structural or civil engineering.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status within a few years.
• Strong communication and ability to present ideas clearly.
• Collaborative approach to multi-disciplinary design teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce structural designs for a range of projects from new builds to refurbishments.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop drawings and specifications.
• Support project delivery on time and budget.
• Contribute to sustainability and net-zero goals in building projects.
