Job summary

KONE is seeking an Area Service Manager to lead a busy field service operation across Birmingham and the wider Midlands, including Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Wolverhampton, Telford and Shrewsbury. You will manage a team of field-based technicians and work with planners, engineers and internal stakeholders to drive safe, efficient and effective service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of field-based technicians.
• Plan and oversee maintenance, repairs, defects and callouts.
• Ensure planned maintenance is completed safely and on time.
• Run regular planning and performance calls with the team.
• Manage customer queries and complaints through to resolution.
• Monitor productivity, costs and overall performance.
• Support team development, capability and career progression.
