Martham Academy and Nursery is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly team in Norfolk. The role covers supervision in the dining hall, playground and school premises, with related duties such as tidying spillages and keeping tables clean.

This part-time post runs term-time only (6.25 hours per day, 11:50am to 1:05pm, Monday to Friday) at a salary of £13.28 per hour (£3,610 per annum pro rata).

We are delighted to offer the opportunity for an enthusiastic midday supervisory assistant to join our existing team. We are seeking an individual who will be proactive in organising playground games as well as supervising pupils in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises. Other ancillary associated duties may include, for example, cleaning up spillages and ensuring tables are clean.

In addition, we require someone who:

• Has the ability to play with children and develop their social skills
• Can work on their own initiative
• Can relate well with children
• Can promote positive behaviour of pupils
• Understands the need to supervise children closely and safely
