Mary Elton Primary School in Clevedon is seeking a caring Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our team. This role focuses on creating a safe, happy and inclusive break time where children can build friendships and feel supported.

The post supports wellbeing and inclusion within our two-form entry school, as part of Futura Learning Partnership. Start date is 02/11/2026, with lunchtimes supervised Monday to Friday.

Mary Elton Primary School is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Midday Supervisory Assistant (MDSA) to join our dedicated team. This role is about much more than supervising lunchtime; it is about helping to create a safe, happy and inclusive environment where children can enjoy their break, build friendships and feel supported. • Has good verbal communication skills and is able to communicate clearly.
• Has a basic level of numeracy and literacy
• Has resilience to work in times of adverse weather conditions e.g. during periods of supervision outside in the playground, there is potential for exposure to heat and cold which on occasions, may be higher than normal
