Job summary

Share Primary Academy in Huddersfield is seeking an enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to oversee pupils during the midday break. The role is 8.75 hours per week, 11:30am–1:15pm, term time only, with responsibilities including safety, behaviour support and assisting during meals.

You will be part of a supportive team under the Head of Inclusion, working to maintain a positive environment and good conduct during lunch. DBS clearance is required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with children/young people
• Willingness to undertake further training/ qualifications
• Basic Health and Safety awareness

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils indoors and outdoors during lunchtime
• Assist with feeding and supervision during meals
• Promote positive behaviour and safety
• Liaise with kitchen staff and teachers as required
• Maintain hygiene and classroom/play area tidiness
• Record incidents and observations for staff using CPOMs
