Job summary

Little Hill Primary School in Wigston is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisor to support pupils during the daily lunchbreak from 12:00 to 13:00, Monday to Friday, term time only. The role emphasizes safeguarding, positive pupil relationships and teamwork within a supportive school community.

The successful candidate will follow school policies, work well with children from Foundation Stage to Year 6, and contribute to a respectful, safe lunch environment. DBS checks apply.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with children.We are looking to recruit for our staff team by appointing a Midday Supervisor who will be able to support pupils during the daily one-hour lunchbreak. We want to appoint an individual who thrives on mutual respect, who understands how to communicate with young people, who is interested in being a learner and who works effectively as part of a team.Working hours: 12noon – 1pm, Monday – Friday, for term time only (plus 5 staff training days per year).

Responsibilities

• Is able to follow instructions and use initiative.
• Will follow the school’s policies and procedures.
• Has the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
