Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust is seeking a reliable midday supervisor for Outwood Academy Ormesby. You will oversee lunchtime supervision across the site, including the dining hall, and support safe, orderly dining.

Responsibilities include maintaining health and safety, modeling respectful behavior, and intervening using positive behaviour strategies. You will also help keep the dining area clean for the next class during term-time hours.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory DBS check.
• Willingness to obtain and enhance qualifications and training.
• Term-time only; hours are 10 per week (12:15–2:15).

• Protect the health, safety and well-being of students during lunchtime.
• Uphold behaviour standards by modelling good conduct, manners, speech and appearance.
• Intervene in behavioural issues using positive behaviour management strategies.
• Help keep the dining area clean and free of slip hazards, such as clearing tables and tidying equipment.
• Decide when to intervene to stop students injuring themselves or others, and refer unruly behaviour to the Principal.

Job description

Midday supervisor post at Outwood Academy Ormesby, part of Outwood Grange Academies Trust. The work is lunchtime supervision of students across the site, including the dining hall, with behaviour management and keeping the dining area clear of hazards. The hours are 10 a week, 12:15pm to 2:15pm on weekdays, during term time only. A satisfactory DBS check is required, and the start date is as soon as possible.
