Job summary

Forest School in Knaresborough is seeking a dedicated Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our supportive school team. You will supervise and support pupils with complex learning difficulties during lunch, promoting safety, wellbeing and positive social interaction.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 11:45am to 1:30pm, term time only (38 weeks). You will work as part of a collaborative team, ensuring dietary needs are met and helping create a calm, inclusive lunchtime environment.

Qualifications

• Experience appropriate to working with children and young people
• Awareness of health, safety and hygiene standards
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to converse clearly in English
• Self motivation and is also organised
• Previously enjoyed working as part of a team

Responsibilities
