Job summary

Castle Hill Infant School in Ipswich is seeking a friendly Midday Supervisor to join the team and support children during lunchtimes. The role involves setting up the dining hall, tidying away, and assisting with cleaning duties each day.

The post is 7.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11:30am to 1:00pm. DBS checks and safeguarding procedures apply, with responsibilities to work closely with colleagues and the Headteacher.

Responsibilities

• Set up the dining hall for lunchtime service.
• Support children during meals and assist with tidy up after meals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth lunchtime operation.
• Assist with setting up and clearing away tables and benches.
• Undertake general cleaning duties in the dining hall as required.

Job description

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Midday Supervisor as soon as possible to join our experienced team to support children and clean at lunchtime in the dining hall.

7.5 hours per week Monday - Friday 11.30am - 1pm

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore will be subject to a DBS check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
