Job summary

Osmotherley Primary School in Osmotherley, North Yorkshire, is seeking a Midday Supervisory Assistant. This fixed-term role runs term-time only, 12:00–13:30, 7.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, up to August 2027.

The successful candidate will supervise children at lunchtime in the dining hall and on the playground, ensuring a safe, happy environment and helping pupils feel valued and supported during the midday break.

Monday – Friday, Term time only (however small adjustments to this could be made for the right candidate and with agreement)

Osmotherley Primary School is a small community school, set in the village of Osmotherley, on the edge of the beautiful North York Moors National Park. We are looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly team at Osmotherley School. The successful candidate will support and supervise children during lunchtime, helping to create a safe, happy and enjoyable environment both in the dining hall and on the playground. We are looking for someone who is positive, kind and committed to ensuring that every child feels valued, supported and able to thrive.
