Job summary

St Mary Magdalen's Catholic Primary & Nursery School is seeking a permanent Midday Supervisory Assistant for 12:15pm to 1:15pm, five hours a week during term time. Candidates should supervise pupils at lunchtime, encourage active play, and oversee safety in the lunch hall, with basic first aid training provided.

Experience with children outside the home and a conscientious, team-friendly attitude are desired; a DBS check is required and the school emphasises its Catholic ethos in its staffing.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children outside the home.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime and encourage active play.
• Supervise children in the lunch hall.
• Help ensure the safety and well-being of pupils.
• Administer basic first aid when required, with training given.
