Job summary

Holbrook Primary School is seeking a Midday Meals supervisor to join during term-time. The role is 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and involves supervising pupils on the playground after lunch while promoting a safe and positive school experience.

The successful candidate will work with children and will receive training as required; safeguarding and DBS checks are part of the process. The school offers a caring environment with high expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with children in a school playground/school setting.
• Term-time, part-time schedule (5 hours per week, Monday to Friday).
• Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks and DBS as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children on the playground after lunch.
• Support and care for children to ensure a safe, positive school experience.
• Interact with pupils during and after lunchtime routines.

About Us

We are looking to appoint a Midday Meals supervisor to work 5 hours per week. 1 hour daily Monday – Friday. This is a term-time only post.

The successful candidates will enjoy working with children, supporting and caring for them and ensuring that their school experience is a positive, safe and happy one. All Midday Meals supervisors are expected to supervise and interact with the children on the playground once lunch has been eaten. Training will be given as required.

Job Details

Salary: WSCC Grade 2 £12.65- £12.85 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Part-time, term-time, 5 hours per week Monday-Friday
