Job summary

Meon Junior School is seeking a Midday Meals Supervisor to supervise pupils at lunch, promote positive behaviour and safeguard pupils during the midday break. You will support welfare, including first aid duties where trained, and work as part of a team to maintain a safe, engaging environment.

The role is within the Meon Way Federation, a collaborative Trust committed to high-quality education and professional development across its schools.

Qualifications

• Lunchtime supervision experience preferred.
• Ability to promote positive behaviour.
• Willingness to train and attend sessions.

• Assist with ancillary duties (e.g. cleaning spillages, ensuring tables are clean).
• Provide welfare support to pupils, including undertaking first aid duties (depending on training).

Job description

We are seeking to appoint a Midday Meals Supervisor at Meon Junior School to stimulate and engage our children in exciting play and games at lunchtime whilst maintaining their safety. In this vital role, you will be at the heart of our school community, encouraging imaginative play, promoting positive behaviour, and ensuring the wellbeing of every child during their midday break.
