Job summary

The Victory Academy is seeking a Midday Meals Supervisor to join our lunchtime team. You will supervise students in the canteen, help entry and exit, and support positive behaviour during the lunch period.

You will model calm, respectful communication, address issues kindly, and contribute to safeguarding and pupil welfare. This role sits within The Thinking Schools Academy Trust family, supporting a nurturing, high‑standards environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise students during lunchtime in the canteen and manage entry/exit.
  • Maintain a calm atmosphere and ensure good behaviour throughout lunch hours.
  • Supervise duty points around the Academy.
  • Address issues calmly and politely, acting as a positive role model.

Job description

We are recruiting an additional Midday Meals Supervisor to join our team supervising students during the lunchtime period and ensuring good standards of behaviour are maintained throughout the lunch period. The successful candidate will organise entry into the canteen, ensuring a calm atmosphere and supervise the students during their exit from the canteen, and will supervise duty points around the Academy. They will provide support where necessary, addressing issues calmly and politely and in doing so, being a role model to the students.
