Midday Meal Supervisor - SEN Primary School

Are you caring, reliable, and looking to make a meaningful impact during the school day? A wonderful SEN primary school in Shoreham is looking for a Midday Meal Supervisor to support pupils during lunchtime.

Location: Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex
Hours: Part-time (Mon‑Fri, approx. 11:30am‑1:30pm, term‑time only)
Pay: £13.69 per hour

The Role

As a Midday Meal Supervisor, you'll ensure the safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment of pupils with a range of special educational needs during their lunch break. You'll help with mealtime routines, encourage positive social interaction, and supervise play both indoors and outside.

Responsibilities
  • Support pupils during eating and playtime
  • Assist with setting up and tidying dining areas
  • Promote positive behaviour and inclusion
  • Supervise indoor and outdoor play in a safe and structured way
  • Provide personal care support where needed (training available)
What We're Looking For
  • A nurturing and patient attitude
  • Experience working with children (SEN experience a bonus, but not essential)
