Job summary

Parkwood Academy in Chelmsford is seeking a caring Midday Assistant (SEND) to supervise and support pupils during lunch breaks, ensuring a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment both indoors and outdoors.

The role is fixed term until 31 August 2027, 7 hours 30 minutes per week (11:30am–1:00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only). DBS and safeguarding commitment apply; visits are welcomed and encouraged.

Scale: Scale 2, Point 4-5 (depending on qualifications and experience)

Actual Salary: £4,259.12 - £4,326.42

Start Date: ASAP following interviews
