Cheadle Hulme Primary School in Stockport is looking for a caring Midday Assistant to supervise pupils at lunchtimes, promoting safe, enjoyable play and positive behaviour. You’ll work in the dining hall and outdoor areas, supporting colleagues to ensure wellbeing and happiness during the lunch period.
This term-time role is 7.5 hours per week and excludes holidays unless required by the contract; prior school experience and GCSEs in Maths and English are preferred to help create a welcoming

We are seeking a number of caring, reliable and enthusiastic Midday Assistants to join our dedicated team. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in ensuring pupils enjoy a safe, engaging and enjoyable lunchtime experience.
As a Midday Assistant, you will supervise pupils during lunch in both the dining hall and outdoor play areas, encouraging positive behaviour, supporting play activities and helping to maintain a welcoming environment for all children. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure pupils’ wellbeing, safety and happiness throughout the lunchtime period.

This position is contracted on a 7.5 hours per week Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.
