Job summary

Space A in London is seeking a mid-weight Architectural Designer to join its interior architecture and design studio focused on high-end private residential projects. You will take ownership from concept through delivery, working directly with clients and a small studio team.

The role covers design development, technical detailing, client presentations and site coordination, with opportunities to shape the studio’s output and grow your skills in ArchiCAD, SketchUp and the Adobe Creative Suite.

Qualifications

A degree in architecture or interior design.
At least three years’ experience in residential or hospitality design.
Client-facing with the confidence to drive projects independently.
Proficient in ArchiCAD, SketchUp and the Adobe Creative Suite; Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Lead residential architectural and interior design projects from concept to completion.
Develop design concepts, spatial layouts and detailed drawing packages.
Produce CAD models and high-quality 3D renders to communicate design intent.
Meet and present directly to clients; incorporate feedback.
Take ownership daily, driving progress and keeping projects on programme.
Source materials, finishes, furniture and suppliers; leverage industry contacts.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications and schedules to high detail.
Coordinate with contractors, engineers and other consultants on site.
