Job summary
Spydr, a Bristol-based software development partner, is seeking a mid-weight Full-Stack Developer to build and maintain web applications for client products across front-end and back-end. You’ll collaborate with account managers, designers and QA Engineers from requirements to release and ongoing support.
You’ll own delivery across client products, turning PRDs into features, using AI-assisted tools daily, and taking responsibility for performance, quality and code reviews.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a full-stack developer at mid-weight level (5 years+).
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools to deliver projects.
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React and Next.js.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL (experience with Supabase is a plus).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience writing unit, integration and e2e tests with Jest/Vitest and Playwright.
- Comfortable using Git and working within agile delivery.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to manage several projects at once.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- 03 Familiarity with event-driven architectures
