Mid - Senior Full Stack Engineer // Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript & AWS // Salary range £60K - £90K // Tech For Good - E-Commerce - Start Up // LDN (Hybrid 3 days per week)

I am currently working with an exciting tech for good e-commerce company that is looking for a full stack engineer to join a fast-moving team. This is a hands-on, high-impact role working directly with the CTO to shape the systems that underpin everything they do—from logistics to ledger management to digital experiences.

If you’re energized by clean system architecture, care about scalability and performance, and love building elegant tools that make the business hum—this role is for you.

They are a mission-driven startup growing quickly, with a beautiful studio space in London and a passionate, loyal customer base.

You will work on:

• System Architecture: Design and implement robust, scalable systems from the ground up.
• Internal Tools: Build custom dashboards and tools to monitor, understand, and optimize processes.
• Database Design: Own the structure and performance of PostgreSQL databases.
• Performance Optimization: Improve speed and efficiency both under the hood and on the web.
• Problem Solving: Be the go-to person when issues arise, fixing problems and improving systems.

The stack includes:

• Node.js for backend logic and APIs
• PostgreSQL / Supabase for data management
• Next.js for full-stack and frontend development
• Shopify APIs (bonus if experienced)

About you:

• You have 2–4 years of experience building web applications or platforms.
• You think in systems, not just features.
• You have a strong academic background—likely from a top-tier university.
• You’re logical, detail-oriented, and enjoy designing clean, maintainable architecture.
• You want to work in a mission-driven company where you can take ownership and grow quickly.
• Bonus: experience in e-commerce or early-stage product development.
