Chubb, the world’s largest publicly traded Property & Casualty insurer, is seeking a Commercial Package Underwriter with a passion for underwriting new business. The role focuses on new business, renewals and trading with broker partners from the North region, including pipeline, quoting, negotiating and underwriting new P&C package business.

Competenze

• 5+ years experience in property and casualty underwriting.
• CII qualifications or working towards are preferred.
• A track record in new business underwriting for the middle-market.

Mansioni

• Underwrite, quote and convert new and existing P&C package business in the middle-market.
• Cross-sell other product lines to support Commercial Insurance goals.
• Engage with producers and BDMs to pipeline opportunities.
• Negotiate and close new opportunities with effective trading behaviours.
• Provide high underwriting service and fast turnaround to brokers.
• Collaborate with sales, distribution, risk engineering and underwriting management.
• Maintain under-writing records and data with accuracy.
• Represent Chubb to brokers and build strong relationships with key producers.
• Adhere to Chubb's code of conduct and underwriting guidelines.
• Promote the Chubb brand and uphold values and ethics.
