A top50 largest US firm that's been consistently growing for the past decade in terms of revenue, PEP and headcount is now looking to expand their Restructuring team by hiring a mid-level Associate.
Following from recent partner arrivals, the firms is building a full-service restructuring practice across distressed and special situations lending, mainstream restructuring and corporate insolvencies; advising debtors, creditors and investors in domestic and foreign restructurings. The team is now headed by recognised Partners, all ranked in legal directories (L500 and Chambers) for their separate specialism in formal processes and restructuring plans, company voluntary arrangements and transactional finance grounding. Given the team’s lean structure, they are looking for a mid-level Associate with a direct line to the partners, to specialise in transactional work and also collaborate closely with the firm’s direct lending and leveraged finance practice.
This US firm is an exception to the high target hours standard often met at other US firms, offering an impressive compensation-to-hours ratio. You will also have good promotional prospects, as there are not many mid-level and senior associates currently in the team.
