Job summary

FORT is seeking a PHP Developer / Software Engineer to join a growing, technology-led team in Warrington. This mid-level role offers ownership of a high-volume customer platform built primarily in Laravel, with some legacy PHP components.

You’ll develop new features, integrate APIs, and work across databases. You'll collaborate with senior engineers, contribute ideas, and influence the direction of the platform while expanding your Laravel and PHP expertise.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience with PHP & Laravel.
• Good understanding of MySQL / relational databases.
• Experience with REST APIs and integrations.
• Proactive mindset and genuine desire to continue developing technically.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend functionality using PHP & Laravel.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and data services.
