Quant Capital is urgently looking for a Core Java Developer to join a well-known trading firm. No experience of finance is needed; finance isn’t what this firm does, tech is.

Our client is an innovative, tech-driven trading company (Equities and ETFs) with a pioneering new concept for the financial markets using their big data technology platform. They have assembled a top team from across the financial markets and are looking to expand to meet high demand from clients. Their trading capital is in the order of multi-millions, not just a small operation.

The role:

This role is suitable for a candidate with 3-5 years of Java development experience. The successful candidate will be a top-tier Java developer (or aspiring, with many team members without a formal computer science degree) passionate about solving engineering problems and delivering business functionality. The role involves design and implementation with significant input into business offerings. Your work will have a visible impact and help shape the future of the product. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of financial technology.

The environment will be agile, fast-paced, and test-driven. You will be encouraged to evangelize and prototype new technologies and approaches to help evolve the architecture.

Requirements:

• Experienced in Core Java
