Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Java Developer to support a multi-year Federal contract. You’ll build and maintain modern web apps using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and REST APIs, with strong SQL skills and experience across multiple layers.

You will diagnose production issues, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with architects, testers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable enhancements. IBM WAS/IHS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience with 6+ years in software/development (Java & Spring).
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL and Angular; solid troubleshooting and design skills.
• Experience with legacy modernization and IBM WAS/IHS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate throughout the Agile software development lifecycle: backlog refinement, sprint planning, development, testing, deployment, and retrospectives.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise apps using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain responsive web apps using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Design and implement RESTful services and APIs with Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders to deliver enhancements.
• Maintain and modernize legacy apps while incrementally introducing Spring/Angular tech.
