St Louis Catholic Primary School invites applications for a friendly Mid Day Supervisor (MDS) to join our lunchtime team. You will work with colleagues to engage children and supervise during the lunch period, helping to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

The role involves setting up the lunch hall by moving tables and chairs, cleaning up afterward, and occasional outdoor playground supervision on a rota basis. Training in Manual Handling, Food Hygiene and First Aid is required.

Qualifications

• Training in Manual Handling, Food Hygiene and First Aid is required.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage with children during lunchtime.
• Set up the lunch hall (move tables and chairs) and clean up afterwards.
• Playground supervision on a rota basis; outdoor supervision when required.

Job description

We are looking to recruit a keen, enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our friendly hardworking Mid Day Supervisor (MDS) team.

You will work alongside our MDS staff to engage with the children over the lunchtime period.

The role requires someone who is passionate about children,, who is willing to help children in the lunch hall which can be more difficult for some than others.

This role also requires the candidate to be involved in setting up the lunch hall (moving tables and chairs), cleaning the lunch hall and putting the same tables and chairs away. Playground supervision is on a rota basis so you should be prepared and able, to be outside as part of this role.

Candidates will be required to have training in Manual Handling, Food Hygiene and First Aid.

Previous experience of being in a similar role would be beneficial, but is not essential.
