Job Description:

HCL Technologies - Microsoft Business Applications Practice is seeking a Dynamics 365 CRM Solution Architect to join our award-winning and growing team. This individual will collaborate with business analysts and other team members to determine the best design approach regarding the overall solution including system design, data integration, and migration.

The Dynamics 365 CRM Solution Architect carries the ultimate responsibility for meeting the customer requirements and completing the project.

Comfortable in all aspects of delivery, you should be capable of switching between leading customer-facing functional workshops, managing development teams (on and off-shore), and working with project and programme managers to effectively report on progress, risks, and issues; liaising with internal and customer senior stakeholders – adjusting the approach and language as required.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Act as a Functional/Technical/Integration Lead, demonstrating a clear approach to methodology, standards, and best practices. Lead workshops, document requirements, and design solutions.
2. Understand the capabilities of the development team and schedule their work appropriately, providing support when needed.
3. Architect Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform solutions and integrations at a high level.
4. Create and review Solution, Functional, and Technical Specifications documentation.
5. Design, develop, review, and test customized code for Dynamics CE Customer Engagement.
6. Stay current on Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and related technologies, especially Azure stack and Co-Pilot technologies.
7. Mentor senior staff, sharing knowledge to ensure team growth in experience and effectiveness.
8. Advise customers on CRM best practices, user interface, and architecture.
9. Work with Power Platform and related functionalities like Canvas Apps, Power Portals, and Model-Driven Apps (Sales and Service).
10. Handle D365/Power Platform Data Migration.
11. Manage Application Lifecycle.

Role Product Knowledge:

• Setup, configure, and deploy Field Service, Sales, D365 Contact Center, Customer Insights Data.

Desired Skills:

• Extensive experience with Microsoft platform software or IT, with a proven track record in a professional consultancy environment.
• Experience as a technical or solution architect with Dynamics 365, with at least 5 full lifecycle implementations.
• Expertise in at least 4 modules such as Sales, Service, Marketing, Social Engagement, USD, PSA, Field Service, or Portals.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Application Integration and Architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with UML, BPMN, and ArchiMate is desirable.
• Ability to manage or lead multiple large projects (6-24 months) with advanced organizational skills.
• Up-to-date understanding of business processes, issues, and technology related to sales, marketing, and customer service departments.
• Ability to balance short-term demands with long-term strategic vision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Visio.
