Microsoft 365 Support Engineer

Location: Home / Brighton (Hybrid)

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (+ excellent benefits, bonus)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Microsoft 365 Support Engineer for a technology-driven public sector organization. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing modern M365 solutions, with a focus on SharePoint administration and enhancing collaboration tools. It offers an opportunity to drive digital transformation, deliver meaningful change, and grow technical expertise within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

1. Champion M365 collaboration tools across the organization.
2. Design and deliver SharePoint site solutions within established frameworks.
3. Create documentation, training materials, and user guides.
4. Support configuration and optimization of M365 products, especially SharePoint.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend solutions.
6. Lead implementation and enhancement of M365 services, following best practices.
7. Support integration and migration activities with other teams.

Requirements

1. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, especially SharePoint administration.
2. Experience designing and maintaining M365 solutions in dynamic environments.
3. Understanding of M365 technical roadmaps and ability to produce user-friendly documentation.
4. Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Certification (MS-900) or equivalent experience.
5. Proactive, customer-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
