Aurora Energy Research in Oxford is seeking a proactive engineer for the Internal Technology team with a focus on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. You will design, deliver, and continually improve core services to support staff with processes, tools and technology for optimal performance.

The role reports into the Architecture and Engineering function, taking ownership of operational improvements, SOP development, and documentation, while collaborating with business users to design effective,

Qualifications

• Strong design and delivery experience with the Microsoft 365 suite (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) and Windows.
• Experience with Entra ID and Intune/Microsoft Endpoint Manager configuration and deployment.
• Able to own backlog stories and deliver with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to create and maintain knowledge articles, SOPs, and process documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder communication across business levels and teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement well-engineered Microsoft 365 solutions aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise configuration for productivity.
• Lead by example, mentor juniors, and contribute to governance and SOPs.
