Job summary

Pension Insurance Corporation is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to turn complex financial data into clear commentary for senior stakeholders. You will own monthly MI production and collaborate with Actuarial and Accounting teams to enhance reporting quality.

You will lead year-end planning, validate numbers, and drive improvements to reporting processes while ensuring timely delivery and strong controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in statutory reporting for insurance or financial services.
• Ability to translate accounting data into concise commentary.
• Experience with year-end reporting processes.
• Strong data validation and data integrity focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly MI pack production and commentary.
• Provide insight-driven analysis linking performance to drivers.
• Plan year-end verification for the Annual Report front half.
• Review external and internal reporting content and propose improvements.
• Plan year-end timetable and roadmap with deliverables.
• Support ad-hoc requests and change projects.
• Improve controls and output quality for key deliverables.
• Support other team members in statutory and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain strong cross-team relationships within Finance.
