Job summary

A leading automotive design firm seeks an MHEV System Validation Engineer in Coventry to ensure successful hybrid powerpack integration and validation. The role includes supporting fault diagnosis and system definition in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in ICE/MHEV systems, diagnostic tools, and a structured problem-solving approach. Qualifications

• Strong experience in ICE/MHEV systems and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to solve complex technical issues with a structured approach.
• Full UK Driving License required.

Responsibilities

• Support resolution of propulsion system issues.
• Conduct vehicle/build level fault diagnosis.
• Create DVP, test cases, and system definition activities.

Skills

Engineering knowledge of ICE/MHEV Propulsion systems

Diagnostic/Data analysis tools (INCA/CANalyser/Corvus/Matlab/picoscope)

Experience of working in engineering facilities

User of Six Sigma or similar processes

Agile/Scrum methodologies
