Job summary

AO in Crewe is seeking an experienced MHE Trainer to join our busy logistics operation on nights, delivering training and certifying colleagues to work safely with MHE equipment. This role focuses on developing teams, improving safety standards and driving operational performance on a 12-hour night pattern.

You will lead inductions, train and assess colleagues, maintain records and collaborate with Operational, HR and Health & Safety teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement across

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience operating MHE within a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Experience delivering practical training and coaching.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging practical and classroom-based training
• Lead inductions for new starters and agency colleagues
• Train, assess and re-certify colleagues on MHE equipment
• Support compliance with health and safety standards across the site
• Maintain accurate training records and certification data
• Work closely with Operational, HR and Health & Safety teams
• Identify opportunities to improve training effectiveness and operational performance
• Ensure mandatory training requirements are completed across your shift
