Responsibilities
  1. Effectively lead the site Health & Safety culture as No1 on the agenda
  2. Train all MHE staff to use the Fleet Management System (FMS)
  3. Complete/support site inductions of MHE / Manual Handling for all FTE / Agency staff
  4. Support Risk Assessment (RA) / Safe Working Practices (SWP) completion with the nominated persons
  5. Provide high-level technical skills training to support operations through various delivery methods
  6. Ensure all training is completed and recorded in line with company policy
  7. Develop a site skills matrix for MHE training and ensure refresher training is completed timely
  8. Manage MHE operators to minimize skill fade and risk from inexperienced users
  9. Maintain competence of MHE operators through refresher training and assessments
  10. Assist in investigating on-site and MHE-related incidents/accidents
  11. Reduce risks from MHE operations and develop learning from experience briefings
  12. Create Safe System of Works and risk assessments for MHE activities
  13. Identify hazards and implement control measures, training relevant staff accordingly
  14. Review safety audit GAP analysis with site management
  15. Liaise with operational management on training requirements across shifts
  16. Participate as part of the Site MHE instructor team ensuring training is completed and recorded
  17. Contribute to the wider management team, suggesting improvements for site safety
  18. Compile data for KPI and Monthly Reports for management
