Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is seeking an MHE Manager to support fleet administration and field-based service activities within a busy distribution operation. You will prepare KPI packs, provide technical support, and coordinate with procurement and operations teams to maintain high standards of MHE performance.

The role demands hands-on experience with MHE equipment, excellent communication, and the ability to multi-task under pressure in a FMCG setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a similar role.
• Experience in MHE equipment management.
• Fleet Administration experience.
• Experience working in a FMCG environment.
• Excellent communication skills to deliver accurate information.
• Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
• Professional, approachable and helpful to ensure smooth running of operations.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver KPI packs and service reviews in conjunction with MHE providers.
• Field based advice and technical support.
• Liaise with Service/Support & Procurement Managers.
• MHE fleet installation support.
• Point of contact for any short-term rental requirements.
• Keep up to date with news items and process updates as detailed on the intranet system.
• Communicate relevant information with internal and external departments.
• Guaranteeing everything is maintained to a satisfactory standard to support smooth operation.
• Shadowing members of the MHE Team to learn and develop skills.
• Assist in projects directed by the Fleet management team.
• Liaise with Directors, General Managers, Operations Managers, their teams to improve compliance.
• Bring to attention any health and safety issues to the Line Manager.

Operational support within busy department. To ensure MHE field-based service/support functions are achieved and carried out to the highest standard through positive working and a flexible approach whilst delivering an excellent Fleet service to our customer base.

Key Duties of a MHE Manager:

• Prepare and deliver KPI packs and service reviews in conjunction with MHE providers.

• Liaise with both Service/Support & Procurement Managers.
• MHE fleet installation support.
• Point of contact for any short-term rental requirements.
• Keep up to date with news items and process updates as detailed on the Intranet system.
• Working with internal and external departments to communicate relevant information.
• Guaranteeing everything is maintained to a satisfactory standard required to support the smooth operation of our business.
• Shadowing members of the MHE Team, to learn and develop your existing skills.
• Assist in any projects as directed by the Fleet management team.
• Liaise with Directors, General Managers, Operations Managers, their direct reports and Employees at all levels within the Group to continually improve compliance to the management systems.
• Bring to the attention of the Line Manager any perceived short comings in health and safety arrangements, situations or processes that you consider to be serious or which may present danger to you or others.
