Job summary

Catering is seeking an MHE Operative for weekend work at Armthorpe, Doncaster. You will perform order picking and pallet movements with a High Level Order Picker, ensuring safe handling of stock in a busy warehouse.

The role runs Saturday and Sunday (12 hours per day). Pay ranges from £13.40 to £16.08 per hour; overtime and shift allowances apply, with in-house training and potential permanent opportunities after probation.

Qualifications

• HLOP cert or proven experience required.
• Weekend availability for Saturday and Sunday 12-hour shifts.
• In-house training available.
• Experience with reach, VNA and PPT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders using a High Level Order Picker.
• Move products to/from high bay racking.
• Check in/out customer products accurately.
• Locate goods within the warehouse.
• Scan products; perform related warehouse tasks.

Job description

Role: MHE Operative - WEEKENDS ONLY

Location: Armthorpe, Doncaster DN3 3FT

Hours: WEEKEND. SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. 6AM 6PM OR 6PM 6AM (12 HOUR SHIFTS 24 HOURS PER WEEKEND)

Pay:

• 6am to 6pm - £13.40 per hour.
• 6pm to 6am - £16.08 per hour.

We are looking for MHE Operatives with HLOP certificates or experience for immediate start in Armthorpe, Doncaster. This is weekend only ongoing role. You will be required to work Saturday and Sunday 12 hours per day.

As a MHE Operative you will be responsible for order picking and moving pallets of stock safely and securely within the warehouse using a HLOP to accurately complete orders and when replenishing stock.

Any experience of Counterbalance, HLOP, LLOP and PPT would be an advantage. The role could potentially go permanent for suitable candidates after 12 weeks.

Duties of a MHE Operative - WEEKENDS ONLY (HLOP High Level Order Picker):

• Picking orders using a High Level Order Picker (HLOP)
• Moving products to and from high bay racking
• Accurate checking in/out of customers products
• Locating goods within the warehouse
• Scanning of products
• Other related warehouse tasks as requested

Any of the below current certificates/refreshers are beneficial:

• Reach
• VNA
• HLOP
• Counterbalance

Certificates not required but experience welcome as we have in house training.

Salary: £13.40 - £16.08/hour
