Job summary

Culina is hiring MHE Operatives for the Markham Vale 1 site to keep ambient warehouse activity moving safely and efficiently. You will drive reach trucks, VNA and PPT equipment while supporting loading, inbound and stock movement in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role requires evidence of reach truck or VNA training, a focus on safety, and willingness to work a 5 on 2 off night shift pattern at night hours from 22:00 to 06:00.

Qualifications

• We need evidence of reach truck or VNA training in a warehouse setting.
• Certification hours spent on the training must be shown.
• In-house licences from previous employers can be considered with relevant practical experience.
• Refresher certification is allowed, but on-site training will be longer before driving MHE.

Responsibilities

• Operate MHE safely including Reach trucks, VNA and PPTs.
• Support movement, replenishment and put-away of stock.
• Assist with loading, unloading and inbound activity following site procedures.
• Complete vehicle, equipment and safety checks to standard.
• Use scanners or warehouse systems to maintain stock integrity.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to keep operations moving quickly.

Job Description

We are looking for reliable and motivated MHE Operatives to join our Markham Vale 1 site joining a busy ambient warehouse operation. Working across our Distribution site, you will play a key role in keeping products moving safely, accurately and efficiently through the warehouse.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with previous MHE experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced logistics environment and are confident operating equipment such as reach trucks and PPTs, while supporting loading, inbound and stock movement activity.

Shift pattern: 5 on 2 off nights shifts,22:00 - 06:00

Salary: £13.13 per hour plus £1.75 per hour shift allowance & overtime paid at time and half

What you'll be doing:

• Operate MHE safely and efficiently, including Reach trucks, VNA and PPT equipment where required.
• Support the movement, replenishment and put-away of stock within the warehouse.
• Assist with loading, unloading and inbound activity while following site procedures.
• Complete vehicle, equipment and safety checks in line with operational standards.
• Use scanners or warehouse systems accurately to help maintain stock integrity.
• Work closely with the wider warehouse team to keep the operation moving at pace.

Qualifications

• We Require evidence of training on either a reach truck or VNAwithin a warehouse, logistics or distribution setting
• The certification needs to show novice training with the hours spent on the training
• In-house licences from previous employers can be considered, provided you have relevant practical experience.
• We can take people with only refresher certification but due to our H & S rules their training on site will be longer before they can drive the MHE
• A strong focus on safe working practices and attention to detail.
• A reliable, flexible and team-focused approach.
• Availability to work a 5 on 2 off nights shift pattern
