Job summary

Unipart JCB in Uttoxeter is seeking a Warehouse MHE Operative to support the movement of materials and forklifts in a busy yard and warehouse environment. You will unload goods, move pallets, and assist with production flow while adhering to site procedures.

Excellent teamwork and safety focus are essential as you operate outdoors in varying weather and perform heavy lifting. Weekly pay with overtime opportunities, pension, and generous holiday entitlement are included.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating Counterbalance/Forklift preferred.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good stamina as heavy lifting is involved.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload incoming materials and product.
• Off-load trailers, HGV deliveries, and inbound goods.
• General warehouse duties.
• Move pallets, components, and materials to designated storage or production areas.
• Work as part of a busy yard operation with frequent HGV, vehicle and pedestrian movement.
• Picking and packing materials for the constantly moving production.
• Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors.
• Adhere to site procedures and guidelines.

Shift Patterns:

• Monday to Thursday: 18:00 - 04:15

Pay Rates:

• Standard: £17.70 per hour
• Overtime: £21.24 per hour (paid after 39 standard hours)

Requirements:
