Prospero Teaching - English Teacher Position in Swindon

Prospero Teaching is seeking an English Teacher for a Secondary school based in Swindon.

The school is a large mainstream Secondary School with a supportive cover team and teaching staff. It is thriving and offers CPD throughout the year. Although the school has a 6th form, most of this role will focus on Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels.

The position is open to both graduates and experienced cover supervisors. Depending on performance, the school may extend the contract or offer a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

1. Location – Swindon
2. Minimum rate of pay – £155 – £215 per day
3. Hours – 8:20 am – 4:00 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. Recent Graduate, with a 2:1 or higher
2. Previous experience working in a UK school
3. Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year
4. Qualified Teacher Status

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years
