Job summary

REESON Education is seeking an experienced Spanish & French teacher for a September start in East London. The role is full-time and initially on a half-term contract with a strong possibility of extending for a full term or longer.

The successful candidate will teach engaging Spanish and French lessons across secondary age groups, plan, teach and assess effectively, and contribute to a supportive MFL department while maintaining high expectations for student behaviour and progress.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Spanish and French in a secondary school.
• Strong MFL subject knowledge and curriculum understanding.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Spanish & French Teacher to join a well-regarded East London secondary school from September.

The school requires a Spanish & French Teacher initially for the first half term, with a good possibility that the position will continue for a full term or longer.

ABOUT THE SPANISH & FRENCH TEACHER ROLE

The successful Spanish & French Teacher will:

• Teach engaging Spanish and French lessons across the secondary age range

THE SUCCESSFUL SPANISH & FRENCH TEACHER WILL HAVE:

• Previous experience teaching Spanish and French in a secondary school
• Strong MFL subject and curriculum knowledge
• Excellent classroom management
• Good communication and organisational skills
• QTS or equivalent teaching experience
• Full-time availability from September 2026
• Commitment for at least the first half term
