Job summary

Reeson Education is recruiting for a Spanish & French Teacher to join an East London secondary school from September 2026. The role is a full-time position starting as an initial half-term contract with a good chance of extension to a full term or longer.

The successful candidate will teach Spanish and French across the secondary age range, plan, teach and assess effectively, and work within a supportive MFL department.

Qualifications

• Previous experience teaching Spanish and French in a secondary school.
• Strong MFL subject and curriculum knowledge.
• Excellent classroom management.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Full-time availability from September 2026, for at least half-term initially.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging Spanish and French lessons across the secondary age range.
• Plan, teach and assess effectively.
• Work within an established and supportive MFL department.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Support students of different abilities to make good progress.
