Teaching Personnel, the UK’s leading education recruitment agency, is working with a welcoming secondary school in Brent to appoint a talented and passionate MFL Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic educator to foster a love for language learning across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This full-time role involves teaching French and/or Spanish (or another modern foreign language) to students of mixed ability, helping them gain confidence in communication, cultural awareness, and exam preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality MFL lessons that engage and challenge KS3–KS4 learners

Foster students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in their target language

Promote intercultural understanding and real-world language application

Plan and assess effectively to support progress, particularly toward GCSE exams

Collaborate with a creative and supportive MFL department

Adapt teaching to support SEND, EAL, and lower-attaining pupils

About You

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in MFL (French, Spanish or German preferred)

Excellent command of at least one target language, and a good understanding of curriculum standards

Passionate about promoting global awareness through language learning

Creative, reflective, and enthusiastic about planning inclusive and interactive lessons

Strong behaviour management and communication skills
