MFL Teacher

Location: Exmouth, Devon
Start Date: September 2025
Position Type: Full-time (part-time considered)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a passionate and skilled Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a secondary school in the Exmouth area from September 2025. We are seeking a teacher who can inspire students in languages such as French, Spanish, or German, fostering a love of languages and cultural understanding.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive department and contribute to students' academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Encourage language confidence, cultural awareness, and independent learning

• Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners

• Use effective behaviour management strategies to create a focused learning environment

• Support student progress through differentiated instruction and targeted feedback

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Specialism in French, Spanish, or German

• Secondary teaching experience in MFL (ECTs welcome to apply)

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
