Job Title: Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher

Location: Blackburn, East Lancashire

Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Full Time

Contract Term: Permanent

Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)

Are you a passionate and dedicated MFL teacher looking to inspire the next generation of linguists? We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Blackburn.

The Role:

You will deliver engaging and effective lessons in French and/or Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong subject knowledge, a commitment to raising pupil attainment, and the ability to foster a love of languages in all students.

• Has qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience
• Can teach French and/or Spanish to GCSE level (A-Level is desirable)
• Possesses excellent classroom management skills and high expectations for student behaviour
• Is committed to delivering inclusive education for all learners
• Brings creativity, energy, and a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
