Job summary

Astrea Academy Trust is seeking a Regional Lead Practitioner for Modern Foreign Languages to support South Yorkshire Secondary Schools while continuing to teach the subject you love. You will work within our Secondary Education Team, guided by leading subject experts, to drive excellence and transformative change.

You will lead on KS4 MFL delivery, curriculum design, and professional learning, raising achievement and promoting social mobility through a knowledge-rich, evidence-informed approach.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for Modern Foreign Languages (MFL).
• Proven track record of impact and high results in teaching.
• Ability to break down barriers to success and promote social mobility.

Responsibilities

• Teach KS4 MFL with excellence and provide specialist support.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of the KS4 MFL curriculum.
• Provide subject-specific curriculum expertise to the Astrea Secondary Curriculum Team.
• Lead on improving scholar outcomes and teaching standards in MFL.
